Lora Fillion, CVT
I am a New England native, who’s veterinary career began in 2012. I graduated from the veterinary technology program at New England Tech, while working as a technician’s assistant in an emergency and specialty animal hospital. I have experience in most areas of specialty medicine: My favorites being dermatology (obviously), behavior, nutrition, and clinical pathology. I am excited to be a part of the dermatology team here at PetMedic seeing as I myself own an allergic dog, and know and understand all the frustrations that can come with that. I find a great deal of satisfaction being able to relate to and counsel owners when it comes to skin issues. I also feel very comfortable dealing with aggressive and reactive dogs, seeing as I’m fortunate enough to live with one of those as well. Both of my dogs are rescues, which is something I am very passionate about. Zoli, who was adopted from a shelter, and Lily; who was surrendered to me because her previous owner was overwhelmed by her allergies.
Candace Traverse, Client Care
I was born and raised in the New England area. Animals have always been a passion of mine, and I treat them all as if they are my own. I have a beautiful seven-year-old Pitbull named Nala, she is the queen of our house. When I am not working you can find me spending time with my big Italian family and all their animals. I enjoy taking Nala on adventures, playing ball with her, and just cuddling up on the couch. I find that animals truly are a cure for all. I strongly believe that animals respond best when they know they are cared for and loved. For the past ten years, I have been working in customer service. I could not be happier to be a part of the new Dermatology service at PetMedic. I look forward to giving your animal the love and care that they deserve.
