PetMedic Pathways to Veterinary Medicine

Curious about a career working with animals? PetMedic Pathways is a free monthly STEM enrichment program designed for high school students interested in veterinary medicine, animal science, biology, and healthcare careers.

Hosted by the veterinary professionals at PetMedic Urgent Care Edgewater, this interactive series gives students a behind-the-scenes look at the science, technology, and medical skills used every day in veterinary medicine. Each session combines engaging instruction with demonstrations and simulations that help bring STEM concepts to life in a real clinical setting.

Whether you’re considering becoming a veterinarian, veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, wildlife rehabilitator, researcher, or another animal health professional, PetMedic Pathways will help you explore the many career opportunities available while building a deeper understanding of science and medicine.

No prior experience is necessary. Students may attend individual sessions or participate throughout the entire school year. Each student will earn a certificate of completion for each session attended. Space is limited, so they must apply via the links provided below.
